Snowboarding in the summer time. Can you think of a better way to spend the summer? Getting to ride your snowboard on a highly elevated glacier in warm summer temperatures isn’t a bad way to do it. It also doesn’t hurt to do it while being surrounded by all sorts of people from around the world who also enjoy snowboarding.

This summer we celebrated our second summer as an official summer of Camp of Champions (COC). For a number of reasons, COC is the best possible place you could spend your summer if you have a drive to snowboard. Located in Whistler BC, the Camp of Champions has the largest snow park in the world during the summer months, and this year they incorporated a fun ‘holy boly’ feel to their setup. Seriously, there were sidehits, hips, and transitions everywhere! Personally, I have been coming to Camp of Champions for the past 5 years, and this was my favorite park yet. Whistler is also a super rad town. You can do everything there. From skateboarding the new park, bungee jumping, mountain biking, hitting the rope swings at the lakes, to taking advantage of the beautiful mountains and scenery BC has to offer, just to list a few things.

We gathered a crew of friends and headed up to Whistler for the two sessions of Camp of Champions. Here’s some footage of what went down. See you up there next summer!
